Sometimes, we might also need to perform these checks on other people involved in a specific transaction, such as the person you're sending money to. We advise you to use kucredit to send money to people you know, like friends and family, and to businesses or organizations you trust and have verified or have done business with before. Please be careful when sending money to recipients you don't know and haven't had any prior dealings with. When accessing your kucredit Account or profile, you should at least do the following:

(j) It's really important to always check that you're only entering your kucredit username and password on our official App (downloaded from the official website ) or on our official website, kucredit.info, if you're using a browser. Fraudulent emails and text messages might try to trick you into visiting fake login pages to steal your login information and two-step authentication codes. Criminals can also put fake ads on search engines that lead to fake websites that look like trusted businesses, including kucredit.
(k) If you think you might have been a victim of a scam, please contact our Customer Support team.

If you think your kucredit Account or profile has been compromised in any way, please contact us immediately. If you suspect that your kucredit Account, profile, or any of your login details have been stolen, lost, are being used without your permission, or are otherwise at risk, you must get in touch with our Customer Support team right away. We strongly advise you to do this as soon as possible. You can also immediately freeze your kucredit Card through the 'Account' section of our App. Additionally, we recommend that you change your password. If you delay in telling us about a compromised account, it could make your account less secure and you might be responsible for any losses that occur. You must provide us with any help we reasonably need to investigate and take action to secure your account. If you use any extra services offered by kucredit, these might have their own specific security rules that you need to understand and follow. It doesn't cost anything to register for kucredit or open a personal kucredit Account. However, you might have to pay a fee when you use certain parts of our Services, like converting currencies. Sending money within a kucredit account is zero fee . You are responsible for paying our fees. We might not be able to process your transaction(s) or provide you with other Services until we've received the payment for our fees. Please remember that our fees don't include any charges that might be applied separately by an API partner, your bank, the recipient's bank, or any other third party involved in the process. Any tax obligations that arise from your use of kucredit's Services are your responsibility. This includes the responsibility to collect, report, and remit the correct amount of tax to the appropriate tax agency. When we mention an exchange rate in this Agreement, we're talking about the rate at that moment for the specific currencies you're exchanging (like GBP to EUR or USD to AUD). This rate is offered by kucredit, usually comes from a reference rate provider, and is often the mid-market exchange rate. We might change our reference rate provider from time to time without letting you know directly. For some currencies, we don't use the standard mid-market exchange rate. This can happen if the law requires us to use a different rate for your particular currency pair. If this is the case, we'll show you the exchange rate kucredit is offering when you start a currency conversion. We might not be able to complete your currency conversion order until we have received your funds and the necessary fees. It's your responsibility to make sure the money for your conversion order (whether it's from your kucredit Account, as part of a money transfer, or any other service we offer) reaches us in a timely manner. We can't be held responsible for how long it takes for your bank or payment service provider to send the money to us. Refusing a currency conversion order: We have the right to refuse any currency conversion order if the rules in this Agreement haven't been followed. Reasons for this could include things like incorrect recipient information, not having enough money available, or if we believe you've broken this Agreement. This includes situations where we think you might be trying to engage in currency trading or other types of trading that aren't allowed by this Agreement. We'll try to let you know if we refuse an order, using the contact details you've given us, and we'll explain why and how you can fix any errors, if possible. However, we won't notify you if doing so would break the law. Since kucredit isn't a bank, we protect your money through a process called safeguarding. We do this according to regulation 17 of the PSR. kucredit holds your money in its own name within established financial institutions. Specifically, your money is deposited in United States Dollars (USD) into separate and dedicated accounts that we hold with these safeguarding institutions. We might change the financial institutions we use for safeguarding from time to time without informing you directly. You can find more details about how we keep your money safe in our Help Centre. You can ask to withdraw the money you have in your kucredit Account. You can choose to withdraw all or just some of your balance. We might charge a fee for each withdrawal request, and we'll let you know the exact fee amount when you make your request. Please ensure you have sufficient funds in your kucredit currency balance before initiating a withdrawal to a bank account in a different currency. When you withdraw funds in a currency other than your account’s base currency, {for example, USD into a EUR account}, EUR into AUD account, a conversion fee (a percentage of the converted amount) will be charged. Rates and fees depend on the currency pair and withdrawal channel. For example, When you withdraw funds in a currency other than your account’s base currency, {for example, USD into a EUR account}, EUR into AUD account, a a conversion fee (a percentage of the converted amount) will be charged. Rates and fees depend on the currency pair and withdrawal channel It's important that you give us the correct information. When you're setting up your withdrawal, please double-check that all the details you provide are accurate and complete. We won't be responsible if your money is sent to the wrong person because you gave us incorrect information. What happens if you give us the wrong recipient details? If you've provided incorrect information to us, we might try to help you get your money back, but we're not required to do so. We also can't promise that we'll be successful, as it depends on the rules and procedures of other banks and financial institutions. Additionally, kucredit might not be able to confirm if the recipient's name matches their account number, as we might not have access to the names and other details linked to accounts at other banks. This means that if you provide the wrong account number, your money will very likely go to the wrong account. kucredit is not a platform for currency trading. You agree that you will not use your kucredit Account to try and make money from changes in currency exchange rates, foreign exchange trading, other kinds of speculative trading, or for purposes like arbitrage, options, or any other activity that kucredit considers to be mainly for the purpose of making profits based on currency conversion rates. Our Responsibility for Payments You Didn't Authorize: If a payment is made from your kucredit account without your permission, we will refund the amount to you, including any fees we charged. We might ask for proof that the payment was indeed unauthorized. However, this doesn't apply in the following situations:
(a) If your kucredit Account or your security details are lost, stolen, or misused. In this case, you might be responsible for the first $35 of any unauthorized payments if we believe you should have been aware of the issue. We won't make you pay this first £35 if the unauthorized payment happened because of something we did or didn't do, or because of a third party acting on our behalf. Also, you won't be responsible for this initial £35 for any unauthorized transactions that occur after you've told us that your kucredit Account might be compromised.
(b) If you have acted fraudulently.
(c) If you don't tell us about security problems (like losing your password) quickly. You'll be responsible for any losses that happen before you notify us.
(d) If the payment wasn't authorized, but you intentionally or very carelessly put the security of your kucredit Account at risk or didn't follow the rules for using your account as outlined in this Agreement. In this situation, you'll be responsible for all the losses.
(e) If you don't inform us about an unauthorized or incorrectly completed transaction within thirteen (13) months from the date it happened. This Agreement replaces and cancels out any earlier agreements – whether they were written down or just discussed verbally – that you and kucredit had about the topics covered in this document. This means this is the most up-to-date and controlling agreement between us on these matters.
